COVID Team & Contacts
Due to the increase of COVID-19 related cases, both in the community and the hospital, a team has been put together to provide access to accurate information that is current and in line with the hospital guidelines/directions.
The COVID-19 team consist of :
- Norma Frost – Director of Clinical Services
- Sandra Blake – Senior Manager Quality Improvement & Patient Safety
- Emily Stewart – Infection Control Coordinator
- Caroline Cavanagh – Patient Safety and Quality Officer
- Olwyn Costello – Registered Nurse
From Friday 21st January a COVID-19 team member will be present in the hospital and available for consultation during the weekday hours of 0700 through until 2030.
The designated COVID team member will carry a COVID dedicated mobile phone and all COVID related queries will be put through to the COVID phone.
Outside of these hours and over the weekend a team member will be available on the COVID mobile and until that is activated, via the HC who will know who to call,
Access to the COVID-19 team for consultation after hours will be as follows:
- Staff to contact the HC and discuss the query with the HC,
- If unable to assist the HC is to contact the on-call senior staff member,
- If the on-call senior staff member is unable to assist they are then to contact the COVID-19 team member on the number below
